BoBunny Projects to Share

Happy Sunday to you!

I just wanted to share a few BoBunny projects that I have created recently. I've been so busy I just realized they had not been shared on my blog yet. First up are a few cards that I had up on the BoBunny Blog a little while ago.

"Seize the Day" (A2 Size)
Seize The Day Card Featuring Star-Crossed Collection for BoBunny by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I was so excited to work with our Star-Crossed collection, it's really such a fun combination of romantic and timeless elements!  For my first card I started with the Bliss Stickable Stencil in a doily pattern, then used our Copper Glitter Paste with it. After that, I splattered some Bronze and Sugar Glimmer Spray randomly.

Next, I cut a few doilies from some dies, then layered the Postcard Layered Chipboard on top.  The sentiment tab and arrow are from the Noteworthy pack. I really liked the Wood tab, so I added it.  To create this look, I used Gold Glimmer Spray, then on top I added Pearlescent Island Mist.

Once dry, I stamped the flourish with my Licorice ink. To emphasize the pattern on top, I used a fine brush and our Mint Glimmer Spray and painted in the stripes. It is a subtle effect, but you can see how it mimics the strips on the packaging that I've used on the interior of the card.

A bit of cheesecloth was added under the arrow to provide a little texture, along with simple piercing around the border.

"Forever Card" (A2 Size)

For this card I wanted to feature the Adhesive Film Tape and our Stamp Stickers. I did some fussy cutting and collaged those pieces along with our Stamp Stickers and Layered Chipboard.

The pocket watch was cut from the Unlocked patterned paper. I thought it paired nicely with the bullseye Layered Chipboard.

You and Me with Pretty Little Studio

Happy Saturday to you!  I have a Pretty Little Studio project to share with you today. It's a little more on the clean and simple side but I really had a blast putting this page together!

My page today features the Nature Walk collection and a few little die cuts. Some extra touches of sequins add a bit of sparkle and some simple piercing gives a bit of movement to the page.

The vintage die cut "Soda Shoppe" from the Neapolitan collection felt like such a perfect fit on here, I couldn't resist it!

The circle elements here echo the first day of school and the bit of growing up and pulling away that occurs in these moments. I cut them with my Silhouette Cameo. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't get a bit weepy putting this page together.

Sadly, today is one of my last posts for Pretty Little Studio.  I've so enjoyed working with these beautiful vintage inspired elements and fresh fun papers! A big heartfelt thank you goes out to Melissa for inviting me to be a part of her fantastic Design Team.

Thanks so much for stopping on by the blog today! Have a super scrappity day and weekend!

Playful with Pretty Little Studio

Happy Saturday to you!  I've got a fun new Pretty Little Studio project to share with you today!

Do you like the latest Chalkboard trend?  I sure do and thought it would be fun to create a page using black cardstock for my background. I smudged a bit of white chalk ink underneath to give it a bit of chalkboard personality.

The papers here are from the "Birthday Cake" collection. The colors are so vivid and charming, and I love how they pop in contrast from the background.

I used a circular die cut from my Silhouette, then added the papers behind it as I went.  A little extra sequins, enamel dots and piercing made the page come together.

Be sure to stop on over to the Pretty Little Studio store to see what's new!

Made in an evening - mini album!  Does the thought or creating a mini album intimidate you?  Sometimes it can seem like a lot of work, but it really doesn't have to be!  The Homespun Easter collection is perfect to create a cute mini album for Easter.  Want to see what I created?

The project started with this base album cut from kraft card stock:

The default size of this album allows for 4x6 photos.  It includes the base cut for each page as well.  I love that you can make this album bigger if you like or customize the page counts to your design.  The tags that were added for journaling are from K and Company tag stacks that I had in complementary colors.  I've used the Spellbinders pinking edge square dies for photo mats.

Moxxie's papers, die cuts and stickers make putting together a mini album a very simple process.  This album was completed in an evening. I just love the sweet homespun feel of it! Now all I have to do are print out some of my favorite Easter gathering photos this year and pop them in!
