Club Q Fun!
Happy Wednesday crafty friends!
It's my day to share a project over on the Quick Quotes blog. Today I have a page to share with you that I created using pieces from the May Club Q - Page Layouts Kit. The colors in these kits are so vibrant and totally fun!
The ticket shapes and sentiments were perfect for these photos that I took of our youngest one silly morning. He was hamming it up for the camera and I thought it would be great to do a collage of his many faces. It's a nice way to tell a silly story sometimes with either a photo strip or a collage.
Tips:
Ingredients Used:
May Club Q Kit - Quick Quotes
PowderPuff Chalk Ink: Red Hot, Coal Miner, Baja Blue, Coconut
Other Ingredients:
Tin Pin - October Afternoon, Red Arrow and Blue Fishtail by K and Company (Smash Line), Enamel Dots - MME, Number Collage Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug, Mini Alpha - MLS, Tab Punch - Stampin Up, Sizzix Big Shot, Sewing Machine and Thread.
Thanks so much for stopping on over today! Have a super scrappity day!!!
~ Rhonda

"4's so Fun!"
I embossed one of my layers and sanded the number 4 for focus.
Tips:
- Do you like the three little chevron arrows? I took a scrap piece of my chevron pattern paper that was about 1" wide and trimmed three of them. Don't get too fussy about cutting them perfectly, part of the charm is that they are handmade.
- The "fishtail" layers were all hand cut to a shallow inverted point as well.
- I used our Coconut white PowderPuff Chalk Ink around the darker blue "fishtail" layer and the base background blue card stock.
- The slight touch of Coal Miner PowderPuff Chalk Ink on my mini card really helps the shape pop.

I Love This Fabulous Cool Kid!
Good morning to you and thank goodness it's Friday! How excited are you for the weekend?
I've got a project to share with you today featuring some more Moxxie goodness! I've used our "Chillin' Out" collection for this bright and fun page. I have so many action photos of the boys that it felt perfect for just those images.
This line has lots of fun geometric shapes, stars and circles, so it worked nicely to add banners and arrows into the mix.
To create the "I" embellishment, I used one of the circles and punched it out using a circle punch, added a flair on top and an enamel dot on top of it again. The two smaller tails are one Chic Tag that I cut apart and layered. The 1 is a chipboard flag by Studio Calico from my stash.
It was fun putting this page together and having a little creative time with the titlework. I've mixed several elements including rub-ons from the collection and of course the fabulous stickers too! The aqua die cut helps the "Fun" really pop.
Ingredients:
Chillin Out - Moxxie (Papers, Stickers and Rub-On's)
Mini Diecut Cardstock, Tropical - Moxxie
Chic Tags
Flair and Thickers- AC
Epipany Crafts Star 25
Button
Enamel Dots, MME
Wood Bubble, Chipboard "1" - Studio Calico
Star Punches
Arrow - K and Co. Smash accessories
Thanks so much for popping on over to visit! I hope you get a chance to relax this weekend and "Chill Out" yourself!

Mother's Day Inspiration with Quick Quotes
Happy Thursday to you! It's my day over at Quick Quotes to share some Mother's Day inspiration.
I created a card featuring the Cracklin' Rose collection and one of the sentiments from our Quotes Bundle - Holidays. If you haven't taken a look at the Quotes Bundles, you really should, they are perfect for scrapbooking but especially card making.
I chose the color vellum "Mother's Day" quote, trimmed it and used my corner rounder. I then added a bit of Biscotti PowderPuff Chalk Ink to the edges.

I love the elegant pattern in these papers and used some complimenting dies to accent it.
Some small teal scraps from April's Club Q make the leaves pop.
This card was completely inspired by the current Cardabilities sketch. I thought it was such a great look -- what do you think? I decided to use some of my flowers for the circles. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
Ingredients:
April Club Q (Teal paper, Pearls and Brad)
Other:
Mini Flourish and Fishtail Dies - MFT
Flourish Leaf Strip - Cheery Lynn
Chesapeake Circle Die - Memory Box
Mini Butterfly Punch - EK Success
Diamond Stickles - Ranger
Kraft Card Stock
Corner Rounder
There's still some time to make that special person in your life something handmade to show how much you care.
Have a super scrappity day!

I'll be sharing more information in the near future but for today, I have my first project to to share with you. I created a pretty Mother's Day card, sized A2.
The papers, stickers and tag here are all from the "Secret Garden" collection by Graphic 45. I've used an assortment of beautiful Cheery Lynn Designs dies that coordinated perfectly with these papers.
Check out the babies breath that the Build A Flower Embellishment 2 creates!
To give you an idea of the layers and dimensions here.
The inspiration for my card was the birdcage and hummingbird dies by Cheery Lynn Designs. Then I added some babies breath into the cage and finished it with my alpha's and sentiment stickers from the collection.
To make the hummingbird pop a little, I inked and then added some Glossy Accents after I applied the pearl for his eye. Then as the Glossy Accents set up, I used a pin to gently separate the fringe of his wings. The scalloped border stickers and the seam binding ribbon added a bit more texture and interest.
I'm entering this creation into the Cheery Lynn Designs 'Lots of Layers' Challenge.
