Happy May to you! I'm super excited to show you my project for today's blog hop. Moxxie's 'Graduation Day" collection gave me the perfect papers to scrap my high school graduation photos. Now I have to say -- these pictures are not my favorites, but they are the only photos that I have.

Some florals help soften the black, grey and white color scheme.

A bit of babies breath and bling...  I softly inked the florals.

This collection is so elegant and full of very inspiring quotes in sticker and die cut form.  I wanted to show that even with a bold color combination like this, you can create a soft and pretty page.  Later this Spring I get to scrap our son's preschool graduation and this collection will be just perfect!

Don't be afraid to alter your patterned paper with a bit of ink or to cut apart your bling to work it into your design.  Here I have cut apart my bling and tucked it in around my design in 4 places.

Monster Mash... Imaginisce Style!

We're very excited over at Imaginisce this week to continue to share with you
our latest release called:  "Monster Mash"!

Here are a few of my favorite images from the collection:

~~~~~~~
"Boo! Bam! Pow!" 12x12 layout
This collection is so fun to work with, the colors and adorable characters just spoke to me!   These fun photos were taken of my boys trying on their costumes from last year.  I thought it would be a fun play on the "Boo" to add a few additional phrases.
The spiderweb style doily and "Pow!" and "Bam!" were cut using my Silhouette. The sentiments that I cut were accented with Crackle Accents and Glossy Accents. A few glam rocks were added using my i-Rock to the tree's eyes and to the "Boo!" sentiment.
The mini tray was a fun little Halloween scene to create for some decor.  The boys absolutely love it and can't wait to put it out!  (I'm pretty sure they really just can't wait for the c-a-n-d-y!!!)
Ingredients:
Monster Mash Collection
i-Rock and glam rocks
Cheery Lynn Designs flourish die
Silhouette
MFT Bumpy Road die
Crackle Accents and Glossy Accents by Ranger
Mini Artists Tray by 7 Gypsies
Va Va Va Voom - Kanban Style!
Happy weekend to you!
I wanted to stop in today to share a really fun swanky creation using Kanban Crafts.  I call this one "All About Her"!  I used a variety of Kanban products on this card that mixed together for a fun effect!
Some glitter acetate and black metallic finish cardstock along with the black damask print really gives this card an elegant feel.  It may be a bit on the "vampy" side, but I love it for something feminine and different!
Tips:
  1. The black border strip is the relief of a scallop square die cut. How's that for using your scraps?
  2. Adding a little strategic accent bling can really transform a project.  Check out her hairpiece, glove and the border.
Kanban Products:
Moulin Divas- Black PCT9878
Black Damask-Red CRD1353
Black metallic cardstock
Red Glitter Acetate
Other Products:
Grand Calibur, Spellbinders
Grand Scallop Square, Spellbinders
Heart Button Studio 20 Tool, Epiphany Crafts
Heart Acrylic Button 20, Epiphany Crafts
i-Rock, Gems and Glam Rocks, Imaginisce
Tiny Attacher, Tim Holtz for Ranger
Seam Binding Ribbon, Black Hemp
Thanks so much for stopping on over today!  Have a super scrappity weekend!!!
Bling it Cristal Clear!
I hope you've been joining along with us at Imaginisce as we celebrate the beauty and decorative "pow" that bling can bring to your projects!  Thank you for joining me from their blog!
Today we have a mini hop to focus on how to use your bling on acrylic or acetate projects.  I had the perfect scalloped coaster mini album from Maya Road that I wanted to create as a storybook for my kids using the super fun Enchanted line.
I used a variety of techniques on my project, I'll explain as we go.
I used the Snag Em stamps from our Enchanted collection with black Staz-on ink, then used my alcohol inks to color in the images.  After I used Pinky's technique (see her blog and video!), I attached my bling strategically to my flowers and leaves.
On this acrylic page, I used Versamark and clear embossing powder and the castle Snag em stamp.  My dragon is on the front of the acrylic, I have a flower behind to disguise it.
I used my heat gun to melt the tulle green flower just a bit for dimension.  A gem in the center was the perfect extra touch.
I added tiny black gems to the i-top froggies eyes.  I created my pink glitter heart embellie and placed it on the top of my acrylic page.
When we received our glitter glue sticks, I had this idea to try and free hand a shape using my i-bond and my trusty silicone mat.
Once I completed my shape, after it cooled, I just used my Tim Holtz scissors and trimmed around it to clean up my edges.  I like the organic feel of this so I decided to use it..  I attached it with my new Pogo!
The story continues...
On this last page, I used the carriage Snag Em stamp and sparkling embossing powder.  It gives a very pretty effect in real life but is tricky to photograph!  I added just a touch of bling to my little flower.
Here's my little story... I created it to flow with the cute characters in the sweet Enchanted line.
The Dragon Lost His Castle
Where oh where could it be?
He looks up, he looks down, he smells the flowers all around...
Still no castle has he found!
Look, it's Kitty and her friend Pup,
Surely now he'll have some luck!
Kit and Pup please take me home,
I miss my castle and I was all alone.
Over the hill and down the trail,
Mr. Mouse have YOU seen my house?
Squeek squeek...  What do I see?
Pretty Princess says "Follow Me"!
Silly dragon, never fear
Just ask for help, it's always near.
And the dragon lived happily ever after.
Well that's it for me, your next stop on our hop is the ever fabulous Melinda!!!
Be sure to be a follower on all of our blogs and leave a comment on all blogs in the hop, then finish back at the Imaginisce blog and leave a comment there for a chance to win a fabulous i-rock package for yourself!
Thanks so much for popping on over...  have yourself a super scrappity and brilliant day!!!
Happy Valentine's Day to You!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I think this day is a wonderful day to reflect on how very blessed we are with wonderful family and friends in our lives.  Whatever you find yourself doing, even if it is nothing at all, I hope that you have a very pleasant day!  My card today is just a reminder that somewhere, someone is definitely thinking of you!
Since February is an abbreviated month, Cardabilities is revealing on the 14th and on the 28th.  It's just a little earlier than normal, so today is our reveal!
Our sponsor for this reveal is...  WhimsieDoodles!  Yayyyy!!!
 So, are you ready for this uber pretty sketch?
I just adore the beautiful layers and shaped of this sketch!  I had to play with my "Enchanted" Imaginisce papers and I-Rock for this card.  Aren't the colors in this line just so pretty?  I paired it up with some butterfly punches and voila!
Thank you so much for stopping on by today!  I hope you have yourself a super scrappity Valentine's Day!!!
