Mixing it Up with BoBunny!

Happy Tuesday to you!

Today over on the BoBunny Blog we are showcasing a few different ideas of how to mix and match various BoBunny collections. This was really a fun assignment as all of BoBunny's collections work splendidly together!

"Cupcake Love"

For my page, I used some Double Dot cardstock and pattern papers from The Avenues, Woodland Winter and Zip-A-Dee Doodle collections. The fun photos are from a cupcake date that I took our oldest on and as you can see, he more than enjoyed his special treat!

The chipboard arrows are from Woodland Winter, the alpha and love stickers are Zip-A-Dee Doodle.

The chipboard clouds are from Zip-A-Dee Doodle, the bird from The Avenues.  I used quite a bit of Noteworthy items and stickers here. The large Woodland Winter bracket sticker on the left is tucked under some Noteworthy and fussy cut Zip-A-Dee Doodle Collage paper.

I used a glassine bag to hold my ticket from Woodland Winter and also cut one of my little clouds from it.  You'll notice a flag layer of vellum under my flags to the right of the photo strip. I just love how all of the BoBunny collections coordinate so beautifully!!!

BoBunny Design Team January Blog Hop

Hi There! Welcome to my stop on the BoBunny January Blog Hop!

Today, we are hopping along featuring our BoBunny blooms, starting and ending at the BoBunny blog. There, you'll see a question listed next to each designer's name. As you hop through to each blog, collect the answer to each question, and then head back to the BoBunny blog to enter all of the answers into a Rafflecopter giveaway.

Want to see what the fabulous prize is?  Check this out - one of our new collections called "Modern Miss" and some Blossoms. It's a prize package worth more than $50! It's seriously awesome!!!

We are featuring the beautiful BoBunny Blossoms for our hop today and I'm excited to share my project with you! I created a home décor canvas that I can't wait to hang in my scrap room.

Believe (6"x12" Canvas)

To begin, I prepped my canvas with Gesso and then misted using a variety of different Tattered Angels mists. I used a few masks and some pearlescent embossing paste as well. The wooden sentiment was painted a light blue and then white crackle paint over the top.

I added some Kraft Wood Gears, papers, trinkets and 12x12 chipboard from The Avenues.

A few details from the side...

I've tucked in our buttons and chipboard under the title. You also see some of the flourishes that I cut and adhered with Mod Podge.

The beautiful Blossoms!  They made this project come alive!  I cut a few leaves and tucked them in behind the flourishes and layers of other flourishes. I folded one in half and tucked it into the letter "B".

BoBunny Supplies:
Blossoms:  Denim Blue Zinnia,  Clover Bouquet, Plum Purple Bouquet and ButterCup Dahlia
Patterned Paper:  The Avenues, Clocks, Antiques / The Avenues; Slush, Mittens / Woodland Winter
Kraft: Wooden Gears
Chipboard: Woodland Winter 12x12 Chipboard
Noteworthy: The Avenues
Brads: The Avenues
Trinkets: The Avenues
Chipboard Buttons: Elf Magic
Jewels: Glazed Jewels
Jewels: Silver and Gold, Zip-A-Dee Doodle

And now.. my question for you is…

What's my favorite color to scrap?  Blue!

Yes, it's one of my favorite colors, perhaps because we have two little boys. I really just love the calming pretty cool feeling of the color blue, in the sky, in the ocean and those are some of my favorite places!!!

Here is the Blog Hop sequence just in case you get lost along the way, or if you've just stopped on over, please join us in the fun!  Make sure you capture the answers to each of the Designer's questions on their blogs!
(The hop will start today and end January 31 at 1200 AM MST.)

Thank you so much for stopping on over today!  Enjoy the hop and have a fabulous weekend!!!

Cool Bunny with BoBunny

Happy Tuesday to you!

I'm pretty excited to share my project with you today! Over at BoBunny we were assigned the ever fabulous Woodland Winter collection to work with and create a page.

"Cool Bunny" 12x12 page

I thought it would be fun to use some non-winter photos with the Woodland Winter collection and challenged myself to do it.  These are some photos I took these of our youngest son playing "Cool Bunny" by adding sunglasses to his favorite little stuffed bunny in the car.

I love using our Noteworthy die cut elements and you see a variety of them here. They are perfect to layer into your design and add that extra elegant touch. A few Jewels in pearl finish are added to the deer and a pretty black nose too. For extra texture I touched a few little bits of Stickles as well.

This is such a stunning collection, perfect for your winter photos and more!

Let's Talk with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Monday to you!  It's my day to share a project over at Cheery Lynn Designs today.

I was inspired by this week's new challenge theme, "Anything Goes" for my project. I really love the dripping butterfly die and built my card around this die. I find it to have so many uses, particularly for any kind of project that conveys emotion.

To mix things up a bit, I selected a 5" square card base in kraft. The Princesses Garden Window Frame was used and the layer behind it you can see the Dutch Scallop Square Frame peeking out.

I've listed my dies below for you in the layered order they appear on my card. I love how they all layered together to create such a pretty space for my Dripping Butterfly. I did add some Waterfall Stickles to my butterfly and some goosebumps bling as well.

I cut my Sophie's Heart Mini doily in half and attached behind the Scalloped Coved Rectangle.

Stepping Toward Christmas with Cheery Lynn Designs

Monday greetings to you!  It's my day to host the blog over at Cheery Lynn Designs today.

I've got a step card to share with you today with a bit of an unconventional holiday color scheme.  This card was created with our Step Card and Snowflakes dies and several of our newer release dies as well.

The Step Card die made quick work of creating the base for my card. I honestly just love this die!  Once I had my base and layers created, I inked and then stitched them down for a little added interest and texture.

I chose the Shuttered Window with Flower Box and decided to layer the Birch Tree die behind it.  I did cut the tree twice, then angled the top branches off to the side for this effect.  I modified my Bird a bit by cutting the back wing and angling it a bit, then I inked and added a coat of Glossy Accents.
