Quick Quotes July Club Q

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's my day to host the blog and share my project at the Quick Quotes blog today.

My project features pieces from the July Club Q along with a few items from my personal crafting treasures.

I started my page with a few layers, then stenciled the title at an angle using Glossy White Embossing Paste which was heat set to provide the texture. The texture is so much fun!

The July Club Q Kit contains these adorable summer die cut shapes, the sun, the umbrella and the Palm Tree in white card stock.  I added Lemonade PowderPuff Chalk Ink and a touch of Orange Slice on the Sun. The Umbrella was colored with Blue Lagoon.  I added a bit of Stickles to my Palm Tree and to the edge of the umbrella also.

The kit also contains the orange button and the orange ribbon, the perfect finishing touches!

It's been a fantastic week over on the Quick Quotes blog as we've partnered with Xyron for a blog hop!  Make sure you stop on over to both of the blogs so you don't miss any inspiration or chances at a prize!

It's my day to share a project on the Quick Quotes blog.  For the hop, I created this page with our new Calypso collection and a die cut frame from an older Club Q kit along with my favorite adhesives from Xyron.

The photo collage our our youngest from his Pre-School graduation was my inspiration point as the colors in the photos were really perfectly suited for our Calypso collection.

Here I layered a doily, a Dreamcatcher die cut and a Bag O' Chips chipboard gear inked with Caribbean Blue PowderPuff Chalk Ink using my 3" Sticker Maker and topped them off with a flair.

I really found the 3" Sticker Maker so very handy for adhering this delicate die cut that I made.  It worked beautifully!

  The Mega Runner was awesome for assembling all of my layers.

As you can see, the Tape Runner was the perfect size to use in adhering my frame overlay.

These Are The Days with Quick Quotes

Hi crafty friends, it's my day to share a project over at Quick Quotes today!

I've got a cheerful little card to share with you featuring the Calypso and Serendipity collections. I think the colors in the Calypso collection are so bright and happy, it just reminds me of springtime.

"but these are the days we dream…"

I did a bit of fussy cutting on a floral pattern from the Calypso 400 paper for my "sunlight".

The chipboard sentiment was attached with adhesive foam dots for texture.  You can see that I stamped a bit on my background with splatter stamps and some Mango Mai Tai and Blue Jeans PowderPuff Chalk Inks.

Life is a Journey with Quick Quotes

Happy Thursday crafty friends! I'm excited to share a project over on the Quick Quotes blog today!

My page today features the all new Serendipity collection along with a few embellishments from Calypso and a few bits and pieces of other items from my stash.

Recently our oldest son had Spring photos taken at school.  I just loved how they turned out and wanted to make sure I scrapped it to capture the memories now.

I used some Glass Beads Texture Gel by Liquitex and a mask with some chevrons to start on my page. Some masking with Baja Blue PowderPuff Chalk Ink was done with a circle mesh pattern.  From there I added some splatters with a variety of mists.  A few of them were a bit heavy so I decided to try something I hadn't done before…  drips.

The papers in this collection are so much fun to work with! I love the colors and designs, it really makes creating so much fun and almost effortless!!!

April Club Q!

Happy Wednesday to you!

It's my day to host the blog over at Quick Quotes and share an April Club Q project which features the Altered kit and our all new Calypso collection.

The April Club Q - Altered Kit features this fun tag chipboard! You can use it to build a mini album or create individual gifts as well.

Designer's Tip:

I cut my sticker banner flag in teal and using the bottom cut piece from the sticker, created additional sticker flags to layer under my "You are amazing" sentiment.  It's fun to get more mileage from your embellishments this way.
