Clean and Simple Planner Page with JustRite Papercraft

Happy Monday to you!

I have a very clean and simple planner page to share with you today featuring some of the new planner stamps from JustRite Papercraft.

For the foundation here I used one of the Misc Me pages from BoBunny, then stamped a few hexagon shapes and placed some of the cute Circle Icon shapes within. A bit of color pencil added a fun pop of color.

I used the new Vintage Labels Eleven die and folded in half to create a pretty tab for the page. For placement assistance on this, I did use my misti, as it really helps align those shapes just where you want them.

Planning is a brand new adventure for me, stay tuned for a few other ideas in the near future.

Simplistic Elegance with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Monday crafty friends!  It's my day to share a project over on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.

Today I have a shaped card to share with you featuring one of my favorite stacker dies, the Coved Rectangles shape. I layered them to create a frame with a pretty scalloped edge for contrast.

The focal point for my card is the lovely Exotic Butterfly Large #1 which is attached with dimensional foam squares. Beneath it is the Heartland America Large heart shaped doily die with the relief pieces removed. This framed in my sentiment.

Some details...

I typically like to use a strong variety of dies on my projects, but today I wanted to share a more simple design that is still very elegant, yet easy to put together.

Be Inspired with Misc Me in Primrose!

I am such a lucky girl, I received the stunning Primrose collection by BoBunny to work with in the Misc Me range of products!

When I received the Primrose Misc Me products, I was so excited to just open up all of the components and look at them. It's a serious feast for the eyes, this collection is just beautifully done! Another reason I was thrilled is that as a Mom of two young boys I scrap a lot of boy themed projects. I decided this was going to be my treat for me!

I decided to create an inspiration book for myself. The Misc Me products are wonderful in that there are pockets to easily tuck all kinds of things into and really make it easy to create. To begin, I selected some images that really inspired me or reminded me of strong memories from my family.

This page is interactive, the tag slides out from under the quote to the right. I added a bit of Washi Tape to give a little vintage flair to the book.

I used our Stained Textures Stamps on my Journal Pack Cards and a bit of embossing paste for texture that wasn't too bulky.

What's a creative inspiration book without a few sketches?  I had to add a few in the mix!

There are so many uses for this beautiful collection!  Please share yours with us on the BoBunny Facebook Wall, we would love to see what you create!

Time for Spring with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Monday to you!  It's my day over on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog to share a project.

This weekend was a big step forward in the direction of Spring for us here in the United States. We observed Daylight Savings Time where some of us move our clocks forward an hour and gain a bit more sunshine in the later part of our day.

In honor of this event, today's project theme is… time!

You can see the de-bossed background kraft paper that I used a bit of pink ink on. To achieve the effect, I simply rubbed my pink chalk ink lightly onto the raised metal embossing plate, then embossed per usual. (Be careful not to press down or you'll have more smudge marks than you might want.)

The effect was a subtle pattern with a hint of color.

I've layered our Pocket Watch with the Ship's Compass, then added the Sentiments Frame #2 on top of those. I did trim off the directional stations from the compass, and kept the flourish to use under the 12. The relief hearts from the Frills and Hearts Border and the clock hands from the Pocket Watch were re-purposed as random embellishments to add a touch of whimsy.

Flowers and Butterflies with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Monday everybody!  It's my day to share a project on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog today.

I have an everyday card to share with you.  Sometimes you need a card to just say "Hello" or "I'm Thinking of You"…  or a prompt that says "Just to Say"...

Just to Say (5"x5" card base)

After I started with my 5"x5" card size, I discovered that the Square Horizon Boutique Stacker Frame would layer perfectly behind it!  I used a 1/4" corner rounder on my corners and attached the base to give the card a soft lacy edge.

The bird cage I cut, then I traced it onto some vellum to create a soft and pretty backer. I attached with a very fine amount of glossy accents just on the outer edge of the bird cage. This allows me to tuck in other elements if need be, like the Princess Tree or leaves.

The Primrose collection by BoBunny has these amazing butterflies in it. I used my dies on top of these butterflies and achieved a very realistic effect.

A few details...

A Romantic Valentine with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Monday to you!  It's my day to share a project over on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.

I have a soft romantic card with flourishes in pink, brown and green tones to share with you today. This week's challenge is to add a flourish and I thought I would make a Valentine's style card to meet the challenge criteria.

I started with the largest Card Maker Scalloped Rectangle die, then cut a layer in the brown quatrefoil pattern from the Card Maker Rectangle dies.  I thought some pretty border cuts would look nice and soft behind these layers, so I adhered from behind.

Each of these layers is attached with foam squares to give a little dimension and interest.

After adding the Oval Boutique Stacker, I knew I wanted to use the Lattice Heart and Vines on this card. The soft green vining behind it is the Celtic Heart.

I cut two Lattice Heart and Vines, one in a darker pattern that I trimmed the heart border from and and adhered to my first cut to help frame it. I backed the heart with some darker pink patterned paper to emphasize the lattice.

Diamond Stickles were added to the center of my Cuties 2 flower and the lighter colored vines outside of the heart and my Mini Butterfly. A bit of lightweight florist wire and a quilling tool were used to create my butterfly antennae. I used a glassine bag and cut a Tiny Fanciful Flourish and you'll see it spraying out from my butterfly faintly.

Cheery Lynn Designs dies used:
Celtic Heart - B144
Lattice Heart and Vines - B368
Cuties 2 - B150
