Mini Album Inspiration with Pretty Little Studio

Happy Thursday crafty peeps!  I've got a fun Pretty Little Studio project to share with you today.

Do you like to create mini albums?  I always love to make them and sometimes I need a tiny bit of inspiration to get started.  Are you like that too?

The starting inspiration for my project today was a ticket shaped die.  If you don't have one of these, you could also easily use 4x6 sized pages with a 3.5 x 5.5 layer on them for a similar layered feel.

How to begin?  I take all of my coordinating packages and lay them all out in front of me.  I look at my base papers and colors and find elements that will be great to repeat in the album.

You'll see that I used the Nature Trail Note Strips for my cover.  I also used the Picture Cards to echo the same style through the album.

I've used the top packing sheet of the 6x6 paper pack for my cover.

I've also used the Vintage Die Cuts and Paper Feather Die Cuts on a few pages as well. Repeating similar elements keeps the feel cohesive. Some sequins and a touch of bling helped finish the album cover nicely.

Small holes were punched and I tied some thin waxed string to bind the book and curled the ends.

I'm very excited to show you my mini album that I created for the June hop featuring Reach for the Stars!  It's one of my all time favorite collections of Moxxie!

Explore!
I added a wood veneer gear around my flair, inked with Lemonade Chalk Ink.

I've used an assortment of die cuts for journaling and framing.

I thought the gear die was a nice accent for the window.

A bit of open space for photos and journaling.

I loved the compass flair with this collection - too fun!

I used triangle stickers for the jagged border on the left page.

The back cover

For the final page, I used two flair badges to fill in the die cut hole for interest.  This album is perfect for customizing for an easy gift to give that is sure to capture the heart of any little space lover out there!

I used a variety of dies by MFT, Lawn Fawn, Memory Box and Spellbinders here.  The flair is from The Paper Bakery and Basic Grey. The shaped mini album is by October Afternoon. Ink is PowderPuff Chalk Ink by Quick Quotes.

I hope you enjoyed my project today, I sure had a blast creating it!

Just for Fun!

Happy Sunday to you!

Just a quick post today to share a page that I whipped up at a crop awhile back. It was just for fun when my creativity was stalled.

I took a break and grabbed this "Fair Skies" collection from Farm House Paper Company that I had picked up from my local scrapbook store, Scrapbooks Too when they first re-opened.  Ok, I also found a bit of chocolate comfort with some Diet Coke, then voila~!  All was right in the world again.  : )

The polaroid frame is a Lawn Fawn die.  Fun right?!!!
The circular doily is a Memory Box die.

I just love this photo of our oldest and how completely happy he is right here in the moment.  We were at an amusement park and he was having an incredible time. The Love Life, Discover and Take Chances sentiments were all totally perfect for the page.

Hope you're having a fabulous weekend!
