Moxxie July Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone,

Guess what day is today?  Yes, that is correct.  It is the first Friday of the month and that means it is Moxxie Blog Hop time.  This month we are going to shake things up just a bit! Design Team Member Mary Pat Siehl has created another sketch for you and each Muse will show you their take on the sketch.  The Muses will be using all different Moxxie collections.  It is going to be so fun to see what collections the Muses are using and to see how each one interprets the sketch.

So let's get us started with the sketch!  This sketch is very fun and lends itself to many different interpretations.

Isn't this sketch so versatile?  Want to see what I created using it?

My inspiration came from the season and last years fourth of July photos.  I thought it would be fun to play with the patterns and motion in this collection and it was so much fun!

I took my favorite pictures and arranged them in a collage.  I used the swirled pattern paper and created a bit of movement by fussy cutting and piecing with some stitching as an extension of the photo matting.

A bit of confetti star punch and wood veneer stars, and some sequins finished the look.  I hope you had a wonderful fourth of July and thanks for stopping on over today!

So let's get hopping.  Here are the Moxxie links:

So have I mentioned the Giveaway?  This month one winner will win ONE ENTIRE COLLECTION of their choosing from the Moxxie store.  Isn't that just so awesome????  I know!  It totally rocks!  So I know you are going to have fun today!

The hop starts today!  For your chance to win, you need to:

  • Follow the hop through all eleven participating blogs, check out the beautiful work of the Moxxie Muses, and leave a comment for each of them.
  • Comments will close at midnight CST on Tuesday, July 9th.
  • Winner will be announced the next day on the Moxxie blog.
  • International fans are welcomed to play along if they agree to pay shipping in the event of their win.

Have a super scrappity day!

So much to love about this layout! My favorites - the way you incorporated multiple photos, the stitching and the way you continued the swirl at the bottom!

I'm a sucker for multi-photo pages ... your collage is awesome! Love the stacked grid ... without being too rigid! Your layers are cool, too! ohhh, the way your burst falls out of the matted box ... VERY creative! This is fabulous! Great job!
