Veteran's Week Blog Hop with Imaginisce!

You should be arriving at my blog from the lovely and
uber talented blog of Shellye McDaniel!

If you don't know where to begin, click here.

Here is my creation for the hop:

Well Done!

I used a bit of Hello Cupcake paper mixed in with our Bon Voyage collection to create this card. I added a bit of dimension to his uniform with my i-Rock and Glam Rocks in black. The soldier image and "Well Done" sentiment are from MFT Stamps.

Ingredients:
Bon Voyage Collection, Imaginisce
Hello Cupcake Collection, Imaginisce
i-Rock and Glam Rocks in black, Imaginisce
Foam Tape in White, Imaginisce
Fabric Petal Roller, Imaginisce
Soldier Boy stamp set, Mini Monarch Border Die, MFT
Tab Punch by McGill
Memento Ink in Black
Coam Tape in White
Green Cardstock by Core' Dinations
Star Embossing Folder, Cuttlebug
Kraft Cardstock, The Paper Company
Other:  Sewing Machine, Thread and Hemp

The inspiration for my card is shared by two Veterans' who are near and dear to my heart.  My brother Gary who served in the Gulf War and my cousin Ryan who served three tours in Iraq as a Navy fighter pilot.  I truly live among hero's in my family and honor their service and fight for our freedom.  Our family is grateful for their safe return.

We also remember those who have fought for us and are not here today.  To their family and friends we say a humble thank you, as words are not enough.

Thank you for stopping on over and taking a peek at my card today. Please check in all week long at Imaginisce to see what the rest of the Design Team creates! Don't forget about the Design Team Call over there. Apply!

I love your card and love the family reason you made it. My husband finished his military career with Desert Storm so the military is near and dear to my heart.
My favorite tool right now is the i-rock. I haven't opened up my brad container since I got it. It makes it so easy to bling anything up.
I am also a follower!
