Bo Bunny July Inspiration

Greetings to you! I have a BoBunny altered project to share with you today. I recently picked up this paper book box at my local Hobby Lobby. Actually my son picked it out and I said it was just perfect for a project I wanted to create.

The book was first covered in a cream acrylic paint, then I set out to cover it with some of my favorite patterned papers in the Juliet collection using Mod Podge. The transition seam was disguised with some kraft patterned washi tape.

Once I had the outside of the book covered, I then used the Soulmate paper to cover the sides of paper for the book. A bit of stamping using the Distressed Textures gave it an authentic paper appearance.

The last steps were to add Glitter Paste in sugar using the Brocade script stickable stencil. I also used the cross patterned Border on the spine and allowed to dry. Once dry, I added a bit of stamping, the Gold Foil Transfer, Noteworthy sentiment and layered chipboard floral element. Flourishes were cut to layer using the Flourish Dies. The pink flower was cut using dies from my personal collection.

This box is perfect for storing special photos or memorabilia in and I love the vintage romantic feel that Juliet added to it.

June Cards with BoBunny!

Happy Monday to you!

I have a few cards to share with you today featuring the newest BoBunny collections, Penny Emporium and Juliet. I love how pretty both of these collections are, they are really so much fun to work with!

"Find Adventure!"

For my first card, I chose Penny Emporium and the elegant charcoal, cream and gold tones really inspired me. I also adore the vintage images in the collection, perfect for those romantic extra touches!

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Imagination, Alphabet and Wind Up / Penny Emporium
Double Dot Cardstock: Chiffon Dot
Buttons: Penny Emporium
Sticker: Combo Sticker  / Penny Emporium
Jewel Flourishes: Glaze
Dies: Flourish Dies
Double Dot Jewels: Tuxedo

"Congratulations 2015!"

For this card, I wanted to create a graduation card. After I saw the sheet of Abundance pattern paper, I thought it would be so cute to cut out the numbers for 2015 and make a pretty graduation card. It's a little unconventional, but I love it!

I used the 3 x 4 Lattice Frame Die to create my focal point block, then added a layered chipboard element and a brad that I turned so it would resemble the shape of a graduation cap.

The Combo Stickers are always such a great addition to our collections, here I've used them to personalize my card with the graduate's name.

BoBunny Supplies:

BoBunny Inspiration with New Release

Friday greetings to you!  I am excited to share a project with you today featuring the all new Juliet collection from BoBunny!

Sweet Moments Scrapbook Page designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel featuring the Juliet collection by BoBunny

There are a beautiful variety of designs in the papers for this collection lending it to not only feninine floral designs but also some masculine elements as well. Here, I've chosen to show the masculine pieces for my page about our silly fun boy.

I've mixed in our Border Die and Portrait Frame Die here as well as some fussy cut elements from the papers which are so versatile! You can see that I've included one of our doilies misted with Glimmer Spray in Frost, Bronze and Gold. It's fun to blend the colors together to create your own custom look.

I've also layered in a few of the Filagree Silver Foil Rubons here as well, I love how subtle and elegant they are when layered into your design. As you can see, I added them right over the top of not only my doily but also die cuts and they adhere so nicely.
