Being Bold on a Smaller Scale

Wednesday greetings crafty peeps!  I'm up over at Quick Quotes to host the blog today.

During the month of April we are featuring our all new 6x6 Paper Pads. We wanted to share with you how very versatile they are! Check out what I created here with the bright and cheerful "Be Bold" collection.  Each of the pads comes with pages of quotes, and journaling spots as well as coordinating solid cardstock. What a fabulous concept!

I started with a sheet of the Be Bold 700. This is a beautifully color coordinated paper from the 12x12 line. All of the other pieces here are from the 6x6 Paper Pad, and I added one of the coordinating Chipboard Stickers as well.

To start, I took the sentiment pages and cut them apart. I selected my favorites and started layering them under my matted photo. I used my Kiwi Lane Sunnybrook Lane 3B template to layer a bit and allow a pocket to tuck my floral tag into.

I had a few colorful coordinating items sitting near my desk, so I tossed those into the mix as well. (The little green polka dot bag, sequin arrow, flair, enamel dots and 2013 sticker).

These positive themed sentiments were perfect for my page. We've recently had a bit of a speed bump with our son's health and I wanted to document his hospital stay in a positive light. The featured photo is of him waving goodbye to the hospital. I loved the "Live one fabulous day at a time" quote for this page.

Sometimes we need a reminder that life is good and that we need to be grateful for things like a sweet sunny smile or our health. The everyday is definitely worth celebration!

Ingredients List:
PowderPuff Chalk Inks in Lemonade and Blue Hawaiian
Kiwi Lane - Sunnybrook Lane 3B

Other Ingredients:  Green Polka Dot Bag - Paper Issues, Sequin Arrow - Heidi Swapp, Enamel Dots - MME, 2013 Tab Sticker - SRM Stickers, Flair - AC.

Thanks so much for stopping on over today.  We hope you get inspired to pick up a 6x6 Paper Pad or two!  You can find them over at the Quick Quotes Store or at Scrapbook.com.

Have a super scrappity day!
