Bling it Cristal Clear!

I hope you've been joining along with us at Imaginisce as we celebrate the beauty and decorative "pow" that bling can bring to your projects!  Thank you for joining me from their blog!

Today we have a mini hop to focus on how to use your bling on acrylic or acetate projects.  I had the perfect scalloped coaster mini album from Maya Road that I wanted to create as a storybook for my kids using the super fun Enchanted line.

I used a variety of techniques on my project, I'll explain as we go.
I used the Snag Em stamps from our Enchanted collection with black Staz-on ink, then used my alcohol inks to color in the images.  After I used Pinky's technique (see her blog and video!), I attached my bling strategically to my flowers and leaves.
On this acrylic page, I used Versamark and clear embossing powder and the castle Snag em stamp.  My dragon is on the front of the acrylic, I have a flower behind to disguise it.
I used my heat gun to melt the tulle green flower just a bit for dimension.  A gem in the center was the perfect extra touch.
I added tiny black gems to the i-top froggies eyes.  I created my pink glitter heart embellie and placed it on the top of my acrylic page.

When we received our glitter glue sticks, I had this idea to try and free hand a shape using my i-bond and my trusty silicone mat.
Once I completed my shape, after it cooled, I just used my Tim Holtz scissors and trimmed around it to clean up my edges.  I like the organic feel of this so I decided to use it..  I attached it with my new Pogo!
The story continues...
On this last page, I used the carriage Snag Em stamp and sparkling embossing powder.  It gives a very pretty effect in real life but is tricky to photograph!  I added just a touch of bling to my little flower.

Here's my little story... I created it to flow with the cute characters in the sweet Enchanted line.

The Dragon Lost His Castle
Where oh where could it be?
He looks up, he looks down, he smells the flowers all around...
Still no castle has he found!
Look, it's Kitty and her friend Pup,
Surely now he'll have some luck!
Kit and Pup please take me home,
I miss my castle and I was all alone.
Over the hill and down the trail,
Mr. Mouse have YOU seen my house?
Squeek squeek...  What do I see?
Pretty Princess says "Follow Me"!
Silly dragon, never fear
Just ask for help, it's always near.
And the dragon lived happily ever after.

Well that's it for me, your next stop on our hop is the ever fabulous Melinda!!!

Be sure to be a follower on all of our blogs and leave a comment on all blogs in the hop, then finish back at the Imaginisce blog and leave a comment there for a chance to win a fabulous i-rock package for yourself!
