A True Love Story with BoBunny

Happy Tuesday!

I was recently up on the BoBunny Blog to share a home décor project featuring the beautiful Madeleine collection and our yummy mixed media products. Have you seen the glitter paste, stickable stencils, pearlescent pens and glimmer sprays yet?  Trust me... they are amazing!!!

When I was assigned the Madeleine collection to work with, I'll be honest and tell you I had a ton of ideas and had a very difficult time narrowing them down. I finally decided to use this 3 Dimensional Wall Art base (Kaisercraft) and cover it with BoBunny Madeleine goodness!

I selected one of my favorite papers from the collection, Symmetry and used it for the left two pallet boards. Then I chose Songbirds for the next, and the one on the right is Roses. Next, I used the doily from the Bliss Stickable Stencils on the upper right 2 panels using my Pearlescents in Blush and Sugar. I applied them in a layered manner to create an ombre effect.

Next I used the script Stickable Stencil from the Brocade set and applied modeling paste that I had mixed in Sugar Glimmer Spray and Silver Pearlescents to. You'll see a few splatters of Sugar Glimmer Spray as well.

Once the doily and script mediums had dried, I added the birds on top of the doily using the stencils from the Bliss set along with Glitter Paste in Silver. My collage at the bottom is titled "Be Passionate…  A True Love Story Never Ends".

Envelope Card with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy first day of September to you.  It's my day to host the blog over at Cheery Lynn Designs.

I have a criss cross style card to share with you today. This style of card is fun to create as you get a decorative envelope and another sweet little card to go inside.

Once I assembled my base piece, I used our Card Maker Rectangle Classic to cut my pieces for the front. I then used the Lilith Edger Doily die on my angle.  You see the Anastasia Border peeking out on the sides and bottom.

The Fiona's Magic Mirror fit perfectly inside to create the base for my card. The other layers were used with Card Maker Rectangle classic and scalloped. The little tags were layered and tucked in to create a little tab to help pull the card out.

I've used a variety of flowers here for interest and texture along with the Rose Leaf Strip and Flourish Leaf Strip.  I hope you liked my creation today, it was really fun to create this card.

If you would like to make one of these cards, you can find the tutorial by Beate Johns on SplitCoastStampers here.
