Enchanted Home Decor with BoBunny

Happy Sunday to you!

I have a project that I wanted to share with you that I created for BoBunny this week.  It's a home decor piece featuring the beautiful "Enchanted Garden" collection.

When I received the Enchanted Garden collection, I just fell in love with the rich color scheme and pretty elements in the collection.  The ombre effect paper "Spellbound" really caught my eye and I knew I wanted to use it particularly!

For my 'off the page' project today, I created an altered large 3D wooden star that I had picked up from my local Michael's. Here is my template and how I created it to alter the star:

A bit of shimmer paint was dry brushed to in purple along the edges of my pieces. I used the themes of the papers and added the cut outs to accent the star. I've used a few of the Brads and Jewels from the collection as well.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Enchanted Garden, Enchanted Garden Fairies, Pathway, Spellbound, Pixies / Enchanted Garden
Jewels: Enchanted Garden
Brads: Enchanted Garden, Baby Bump
Buttons: Pincushion
Jewel Flourishes: Glaze

Thanks so much for stopping on over for a visit today!  Have a super scrappity day!!!

An Enchanted Card with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Monday to you! It's my day to share a project over on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.

I created a nature themed card for you today with a variety of our pretty dies. It was a lot of fun to create as these dies are all just so gorgeous! I've used the Enchanted Garden papers from BoBunny for this sweet card. There is just something so dreamy about the papers and colors.

I began with an A2 card base in kraft cardstock. The first simple layer was cut and then stitched down. My first die is a Horizon Rectangle Boutique Stacker in medium, cut apart. Then I cut the largest Horizon Fishtail Banner to layer over and disguise the gap. Next I placed the Swedish Spring Oval Frame in horizontal orientation.

I created a lacy flower using three cuts of the Dainty Bows, then layered it on top of a Sophie's Heart Mini. A few Rose Leaves were tucked under as well as an Ivy Corner Flourish to anchor the left corner of my design. Another cut of the Ivy Corner Flourish was used to vine into the Ornamental Gate.

A bit of random string adhered to the back of the birdhouse and a few birds from Tiny Things with Wings finished the elements. I added a few stick pins and a small bow to finish the card.

Spring Inspiration with Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy Monday to you!  It's my day to host the blog over at Cheery Lynn Designs.

The weather here has been incredibly beautiful! Our plants are coming in nicely and everything is so vibrant and pretty right now. This card today was inspired by the pretty colors of Spring in the new Enchanted Garden collection by BoBunny.  I love the greens and blues with the purple.

I used the Anastasia Border to frame in my second layer.  On top of that I used my Scalloped Rectangle Cardmaker Classic. The Ivy Corner Flourish was next and anchors in the Shuttered Window with Flower Box.

Once I selected my background layers I knew I wanted to use the Window as my focal point of the card.  I cut a piece of vellum and laid a piece of cheese cloth on top to layer behind the windowframe to soften the look. I tucked behind the Sentiment Frame on the very top.

Designer's Tip:  To attach the vellum and cheese cloth, I used a tiny stapler on the top of the window frame. The staples are hidden and it was easier to secure than with glue.

A mixture of tiny florals from the Babies Breath Flower Kit were mixed in with my Princess Tree to resemble lilacs. I then added some Roses into the Flower Box and a Daisy on the right side to anchor it. I added a few gems and glitter glue to finish off my card.
