December Stack-a-holics Challenge!

Monday greetings to you!

I wanted to share my inspiration project for the DCWV Mood Board challenge for December. This card was created using the "Christmas Plaid" stack by DCWV.

I loved the beautiful creams and black with a hint of green and of course the gold foil in this stack, it coordinates with the mood board perfectly!  Of course, I had to cut out the sentiment and add a few pretty flowers and die cuts.

ScrapBerry's November Challenge!

Happy Thursday to you!

I've got a fun project to share with you today that I created for ScrapBerry's November and December Challenge. This year is just flying by, I can't believe it's November already. My project features the Winter Joy collection by ScrapBerry's.

The foundation is a plain canvas binder sized 7.25” x 8” that I picked up at my local craft store. It is primed with white gesso. I used stencils and modeling pastes, glass bead gel along with several spray mists and paints for color.  A pretty variety of ScrapBerry’s embellishments helped create the design.

The binder will be used to store our family memories during the holidays. I loved altering the Resin Flowers and the Cherry Blossom Flower to fit with my design theme.

To accent my Convex Metal Frame, I added gel medium lightly to the scalloped frame, then sprinkled with gold embossing power. I heat set the powder. I also have done this to the Set of Wings to blend into my design.

ScrapBerry’s Supplies:
12x12 Winter Joy Paper Pad (Postcards and Sprinkle of Snow)
Convex Metal Frame – Winter Joy 1
Decoration - Winter Joy
Resin Flowers – Fairy Tale
Epoxy Brads – Once Upon a Winter
Chipboard Die Cuts White Tags 2 cards
Set of Wings White - Metal Embellishments
Torsel’s Stamp – Fairy Tale
Flair Embellishments – That Special Time of Year
Charms Set - Brass Trumpet
Chipboard Die Cuts No 2 – Birds of Paradise
Cherry Blossom 10 Piece Set Pink and White

DCWV Stack-a-Holics August Challenge!

Greetings crafty peeps!

Apologies for the blog being so quiet, I was sick for a little over a week with some sinus and bronchitis bug. Finally feeling a little bit back to normal today, which is so good!

I do have a pretty card to share with you today featuring the Coastal Stack for the August DCWV Challenge! As always, DCWV does not disappoint, these papers are just beautiful! I decided to use them for a wedding themed card.

October Stack-A-Holic Challenge at DCWV

Happy October!  It's time for a brand new Stack-a-holic's Challenge over at DCWV!

I played along with this month's card sketch using the DIY Project Stack - Wedding papers. I thought it would be pretty to go a bit monochromatic and play off of the beautiful foiled designs.

Bo Bunny June Challenge

Sunday Greetings to you!

I am super excited I got a chance to play along with the Bo Bunny June Challenge this month!  Here's the fabulous sketch by Irene Tan:

I mixed up some MamaRazzi, MamaRazzi 2 and Weekend Market to create this:

Some details...

My little guys...

I snapped these photos Friday when I dropped the boys off for pajama and pizza party at daycare. They were so cute! It always takes me a few different tries before I can get a good photo, but it's so awesome when you get that perfect shot!  These are printed off my phone.

To soften the look I used a glassine bag as a layer behind the photos and the polaroid chipboard.  I've used a variety of die cuts and a few Silhouette Cameo cuts on here as well. I loved this sketch and the challenge, thanks Bo Bunny!

Thanks for popping on over today!  Have a super scrappity day!
