Happy Monday crafty friends! It's my day to share a project over on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.
I've got a holiday themed card to share with you today with a bit of masculine appeal I think. It's really fabulous how Cheery Lynn Designs dies can be ultra beautiful with florals and flourishes with lace touches, but the details in our other dies are equally amazing.
The inspiration dies for my card were the Screen Door with Dog and Pine Branches dies. I had a scrap tiny doily left over and thought it might make the perfect base for creating a holiday wreath. I just bent my pine branches a bit to fit them around the doily and adhered them with a touch of glossy accents.
Once I had them in place, I used a touch of white ink and diamond stickles to give the feeling of snow. The dog here is cut from a cereal box and is a nice sturdy chipboard, then I inked him.

"Home for the Holidays" (3.5" x 5.75" Tent Fold Card)

I used two layers of the Tiffany Border behind my door panels.
Do you ever save your die cut pieces that you create while you work? I sure do! Sometimes I cut a few things which don't end up on my project. Those pretty things, I save in a folder.
This card is made from a variety of my left over pieces that I was able to take with on vacation so I could still craft using my die cuts and a small travel crafting kit. It's nice for those times that you aren't able to take your machine or dies along.
