A Bit of This and That

Monday greetings crafty friends!  It's my day to share a project with you over on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.

My card that I have to share with you today was inspired by a few scraps laying on my table. I had the Burlap Border scrap and the green French Flair Scalloped shape staring at me and wanted to use them. I started with those pieces and added a bit here and there to it.

Have you seen the darling Tags 1 and Tags 2 dies that Cheery Lynn Designs has? I think they are so fantastic and the perfect accent! They were mixed up so I had a variety of tag shapes and the string is a little different on each for interest.

You can see the gear tucked in behind my flowers here.

Sometimes I like to cut apart pieces of the borders or flourishes to use them in different ways.  You'll see those little hearts and they were cut from the Sophia's Heart Border die. I then used the scallops above and below the little green tag as you can see above.

Irina inspired me to try and shape my medium rose a little differently. Stay tuned as she shares with us a tutorial later this week on how she does her amazing roses!

Cheery Lynn Designs dies used:
French Flair Silver - L12
French Flair Scalloped - XL13
Ankara Lace Border - B332

We would love to see you play along in our all new Black and Orange Challenge this week! Be sure to check out all of the fun details right here. Who couldn't use a $20 shopping spree in the Cherry Lynn Designs store?

Thanks so much for stopping on over today!
