It's Cardabilities Reveal Day!

Did anyone else just blink and realize we are half way through March today?  I sure did!!!  I'm so excited that we are in Daylights Savings Time mode again too!

Since it's the 15th of March that means it's time for our new sketch over at Cardabilities too!  Are you ready?  Here's the fabulous sketch by Karan Gerber:
I was so intrigued by this sketch, I had several directions I thought about taking.  The following is my interpretation with a little help from a few of my favorite Martha Stewart punches.

If you notice there are three butterflies in each block, the two "adult" ones and then the "baby" in the center.  I created this for a co-worker of mine who is pregnant and I thought it was a great way to symbolize the new baby!  I'm so happy for them, this is their first and they are overjoyed!!!
A close up for some details:
I just love the spring colors in these Jillibean Soup and GCD Studios papers!  I thought it might be a fun touch to toss in a little paper doily too.  The pearl stick pins are those simple ones that I found at Michael's in the sewing section.

We would love to see what you create using the sketch too, so be sure to link up on the Cardabilities blog so we can stop by and leave you some love!!!

Thank you so much for popping on by and have a super scrappity day!!!

I saw this on Cardibilities and just wanted to drop by to say what a gorgeous card you made! It looks so detailed and intricate, I'm sure your co-worker will love it. Why can't I have a scrappy co-worker like you? Also thanks for commenting on my blog, I'm not worthy.
