Happy Friday crafty peeps!
We're so excited to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day and weekend with our Quick Quotes friends and fans! What better way than to have a fun blog hop!?! During the hop you will see inspiration from some of the Design Team for our current blog challenge. Please visit the blog for full details how to play along with the challenge.
The hop is open until Sunday evening at 11:59pm PST. There is a grab bag of scrappy Quick Quotes goodies up as a nice prize to one lucky commenter!
The current challenge theme is "Fussy Cutting". It's really about finding a pattern in whatever paper that you are using and cut it out. Simple enough - but the results are always so much fun!
This month we are featuring the PowderPuff Chalk Inks and you know how much I love to work with them! This page features Blue Hawaiian in a subtle way. I used with a mask to create the diamond pattern under my Spring Vellum Overlay. A little stitching added another level of detail and dimension to the page.
Quick Quotes Products:
One Fine Day collection
The Big Things - Vellum Overlay
Spring - Vellum Silhouette
PowderPuff Chalk Inks: Blue Hawaiian, Mango Mai Tai, Lemonade

In honor of NSD my layout is about this hobby:
What did I fussy cut on my project?
The patterned paper flowers, the zig zag paper borders, the yellow grid paper and the most subtle of all... the "Precious Memories" sentiment which is layered under my vellum overlay. I really love the elegance that the vellum gives this page!
