Happy Halloween early to you!
Do you have a lot of fun activities planned? We haven't yet carved our pumpkins with the boys so that is on our agenda for today. We are totally excited to do it! In the morning Chuck and the boys are going to go running in a fun race. The kids get to race in their Halloween costumes and I think it will be so cute! (I'm going to hang on the sidelines so I can get all the photo ops, naturally!)
Since today is the 30th, you know what that means, right? Yes, it's time for a new reveal at Cardabilities!!! We got this super cool sketch to work with and wait til you see how my mind worked this one!
The sketch:
Here is my interpretation using the Cosmo Cricket "Wanted" line. I just loved the fun chipboard pieces so much, I knew I 'wanted' to use this one on a card. (ha! like my pun?!!)
Ingredients: Cosmo Cricket 'Wanted' papers and chipboard. Zva Creative black flourish bling, Spellbinders Labels 10, Ranger Distress inks in Walnut Stain, Barn Door and Weathered Wood, hemp and thread.
I loved playing with the black flourish bling on this card. I cut it apart in five pieces! Don't be afraid to take an embellishment apart a little to make it work for you. My favorite thing on here besides that black kicked up dusty bling is the lasso. It just didn't feel like it was done until the lasso was on the cowboy!
Want to play along with us? The month of October which includes this sketch reveal, we have a sponsor Scrapshotz! They have generously donated the following prize package valued at $35, isn't is beautiful?!!:
Be sure to link up over at Cardabilities with your creation using the sketch for a chance at this awesome kit, and so that we can leave you all some blog love! That's it for today, thanks so much for stopping on by and have a super scrappity Saturday!
p.s. I have some fun things coming up that I am excited to share with you!

I decided to use some yummy October Afternoon Thrift Shop for this project and I have to tell you, I just love these papers and really adore how this card came out!
Ingredients: October Afternoon Thrift Shop papers and sentiment sticker, Kraft Cardstock, Archivers, Spellbinders Beaded Circles and Big Scalloped Circles, Zva Creative Pearls, EK Success butterfly punch, Ranger Diamond Stickles, Ranger Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The crochet trim is from the dollar bin at Target. It started out as a headband, but I just loved the pretty feel of it so I cut it apart and used it on a few scrappy projects. Red ribbon and thread from my scrappy stash.
My tip for you today, don't overlook your stickers, they can be wonderful inspiration and sentiments on cards!
I can't wait to see how this sketch inspires you! Please be sure to play along with us at Cardabilities and link up your lovely creation so we can leave you some blog love!
Thanks so much for stopping on by, have a super scrappity day!!!
